Ha sido profesor de Universidad de Talca (2015-2021) y su foco de investigación en Economía de la Educación, Desigualdad, Movilidad y Public Economics. Ha publicado en diversas revistas internacionales, como también capítulos de libros en editoriales nacionales e internacionales. Actualmente está en proyectos de investigación sobre preferencias sociales y los efectos de los diseños institucionales del sistema educativo chileno.

Bernardo worked as a Faculty member of Universidad de Talca (2015-2021) and his research agenda focuses in the Economics of Education, Inequality, Income Mobility and Public Economics. His articles and book chapters have been published in several internacional journals and national/international books. Currently, he is doing research about social preferences, and the effects of the Chilean educational system design on schools’ actions.
